    Hi Camille,

I have been practicing to keep my belly out when I sing and it has been going well.  My question now though is should I do this always even when I'm not singing?

    Thanks in advanced,

Hi, Aaron! I don't think there's a reason you'd need to suspend your breath or keep your belly expanded when you're not singing. However, it's a good idea to keep taking low, relaxed breaths throughout the day!

So pretty much your saying that I should breath in the same except it is fine that I don't expand my belly and do all the fancy breathing techniques?

Correct! I'm saying that letting your belly relax and move when you breathe normally is a good thing (in my opinion), but you don't need to keep your belly expanded while exhaling when you're not singing!
