    Hi All!

Just got started with 30 Day Singer. I have a good musical ear and play guitar, bass, and various mandolin instruments. I am a folky, rocky, socially and politically-conscious guy on the verge of retirement as a public high school teacher.

I am interested in writing songs and establishing a band here in Southern California. I think I am a tenor.

Any advice for an older guy interested in delving full-time into music and needing to sing?

Welcome! Here's an article on how to best use the course: https://www.30daysinger.com/blog/one-lesson-per-day-how-to-practice-for-the-best-results

In addition to learning about your voice and practicing, I encourage you to join any local groups (Facebook is a good place to look) for musicians or singers. That's a great way to get plugged into your local music scene, learn about gig opportunities, etc!
