Hi everyone, my name is Karen.  I have wanted to be a singer all my life.  I'll turn 60 on Monday, July 27 and this course is my gift to myself.  I had some bad early experiences.. I wanted so badly to sing in high school musicals, but practically got laughed off the stage at every audition.  I gave up trying many years ago, but in recent years I've sung karaoke and have become encouraged to try again.  I have so much to learn.  Still don't really like my voice, but I think it has potential.  I come here with the highest of hopes.  I have a five-year plan to become the best singer I can possibly be, and at the end of that five years, I want to be at least good enough to jam with people, or try out for a musical again.  I'm very excited about my decision.  I look forward to meeting some of you along this journey!

Hey all, I go by the name Cookies! (It's what I'm known as)

I'm 21, and starting to get extremely serious about building a career in music. A lot of my musical inspiration comes from Pop-Punk and Visual Kei especially. Huge fan of the GazettE and YOHIO \m/

I've always had a huge love for music ever since i was little, and got into playing music when i was 12, i started off by playing piano, then guitar (my fav). I fell off of it all though and made some pretty bad choices, so I'm having to re-learn the guitar, but i never really sang though. I recently started singing 2 months ago from now, and I'm completely in love with music again and need to make it my life! It's like, the one instrument i was too nervous to play back then, i really wish I had the confidence a LOT sooner, it's sooooooo fun!!!

I'm seriously looking forward to connecting and learning with you all!! xP

Karen, I'm so sorry you've had some bad experiences with singing in the past. Even though I sing (and teach) full-time, I'd had my share of bad experiences, too. There will always be critical and negative people. But we keep singing because we love it. And I truly hope you grow in confidence as you learn more about your voice!

Cookie, welcome! Both guitar and piano are awesome instruments for a singer to learn. Glad to have you here!

Hi evryone m'y name is achwak I am new here and I need some advice for my voice Well first I can change my voice I do not know how but when I listen to a song I do not imitate the way the singer sings it and my voice becomes more like it I can change it from nice to deep and so is the problem that I suffer from I cannot sing notes I am losing my breath and the low notes also. My voice sounds disturbing when I sing the low layer. I need to know how to do the low and high notes, and how to find my voice and not imitate the voices of the singers.

    Hello. I'm Ashley.
    I am a terrible singer.
I'd like to improve my voice into a pleasent to listen to baritone.
I've signed up to full access, and with improvement I plan to
pay for private coaching, I will just have to see how I get on.
If I had to compair the voice I want to develop the closest singer
I've heard to my ideal is David Draiman's proformance of the song
"Sound of Silence." - Well, I hope the journey will be fun.

    Best to you all.
    Be blessed.

Hello, my name is Amy, I'm new :) I have been singing for a few years now and have had private lesson, mostly musical theatre as I also perform. I have just been cast in a musical with a very hard song and I don't want to disappoint myself like I have done in the past. My beath and placement are my biggest issue and I've been told that I try to hard. I am here to start from the beginning to get my technique right as I know I have been doing things wrong. I also need to work on my nerves in audition!

Looking forward to getting started! :)

    Hey :)
I'm Ruth, a 14 year old from Sydney. I'm using the wonderful Camille as my instructor. I've only been doing 30 Day Singer for a few days, and I can already feel my voice growing stronger! It's definitely been a great use of my time, and it's really fun too! I'm also enjoying playing Shake It Up on the piano ;) (btw Camille, your voice is absolutely lovely!) Have a great day all!
