whenever I practice singing, it sounds and feels like my throat needs clearing. My mouth and throat also get very dry...Is there anyway I could improve that?

Hi, Sunaina! The two could be related. When you're dehydrated, the mucus on your vocal folds becomes thick and you'll feel the need to clear your throat.

You can take special care of your voice by: staying hydrated with lots of water and warm tea with honey, using a humidifier, saline sinus rinses, gargling with warm salt water, and keeping lozenges handy.
