     Hi Camille.

I need some advice. How do I find my voice or know it's my actual voice and not me mimicking other country artist. Since I am so used to singing that way. My dream is to become a country music singer-songwriter. And I want to find my own voice. Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

Good question! Try singing a lullaby and see how you sound. I believe that as singers, we end up as a blend of all the artists who've influenced us - so if you love country music, it's natural that you'll sound country! To avoid mimicking one country artist, listen to a variety of singers (and styles). If it feels natural, then it probably sounds natural, too.
