Hi All,

I have a question.  So when I'm on my tuner and singing.  I could hit the note correctly except it always says I'm hitting the octave above.  For example, when I'm trying to hit an A2, the tuner says I'm hitting an A3.  Is the tuner always correct and am I actually hitting those notes?

Hey Aaron,

Tuners are typically correct in determining the notes it is hearing. However I do not know what kind of tuner your are using. Some tuners are quite complicated and need to be calibrated in order to work accurately. Just make sure your tuner is set up properly, if needed. Otherwise it should be giving you an accurate reading!
