it is important to stay hydrated as a singer by drinking plenty of room-temperature water, but what do you think about throat sprays (those specifically designed for singers) or drinking tea before, during, or after singing? Have you ever used throat sprays or drank tea before, during, or after singing? Do you think either or both of these are helpful to singers?

Hi, Kevin! Yes, I regularly drink tea before, after and sometimes during performances - or just hot water with lemon and honey. Any warm (non-caffeinated) beverage with honey will be soothing, for sure! I've also used "Entertainer's secret" throat spray in the past when I needed to sing while sick, but it didn't make a noticeable difference for me. Ultimately, there's only one way to find out what works for you: try it and see!
