Tickly throat

    Hi there,

I have been singing all my life, but in bands and as a solo artist for the last 27 years. For quite some time now I have been suffering from a tickly throat feeling when singing especially in my higher register. I do beginner vocal warm ups every day, steam from time to time but nothing seems to stop the tickly throat and I feel my range has suffered as a result.

Do you have any recommendations of what could be causing this and how I can go about resolving it?

    Thank you

    Greig

Hi, Grieg! A tickly throat sounds like it could be related to allergies or post-nasal drip. I'd look into those possibilities with your doctor!
