    Hi,

I'm wondering does the jaw tension exercises really work because like every time when I sing my jaw tension up when I sing loud but not too loud when I lift my soft palate?

Is there an effective workout regimen that helps with the jaw tension?

Why does my jaw tense up when I sing and when I lift my soft palate?

    Hi Mareae,

Your jaw feeling tense is normal and yes, if you practice, you can control your jaw so that it's not so tense. When you're singing for a long time, your jaw can get a little worn out, and it's important to be able to exercise your jaw tension for maximum comfort and help your singing.

Make sure to check out this lesson from Camille. She'll talk about tension and how to address it.https://www.30daysinger.com/tutorial/removing-vocal-strain/3
