I just started the beginner course today and while i was doing the warm ups my throat started to feel swore. I stopped as soon as i felt the pain it went away in a few mins. I need some advice should i continue the lessons after it goes away or should i wait till next day? What am i doing wrong what can i change so this doesn't happen again.

Hi, Jennifer! Your voice may feel sore from overuse or excess tension. I recommend you find the configuration that's easiest for you to sing on (like a hum or lip trill) and switch to that when you start to feel strained. I also encourage you to practice in front of a mirror and look for visual cues that you're tensing! Once you've rested your voice, you can definitely try again on the same day.
