I was wondering what the reason for one singing mixed voice is. Does it make the singing more powerful or louder than just head voice itself. I am talking about those high notes when you can no longer use chest voice. If it does make the singing more powerful or louder, than what is the point besides the fact that it might sound a little more like chest voice.

    Hi Jonah,

Sometimes a song uses a mixed voice and that's why it's good to learn. Mixed voice is a bit of an advanced technique and so you have to work up to it. But if you are able to pull it off, you'll be able to sing more complex melodies and interesting pieces. But of course, it's all up to your singing style!
