1. 3:28, 'simplify it, make it robotic', is there a specfic reason as to why should we practice in that way? What if we practice it in the way we would normally sing(like sliding notes, etc.)?

2. 4:31, 'Use the 'Y' of YAH to launch in', I actually tried going AH without starting with the Y, as well as staring AH with the 'Y of the YAH', I don't hear any difference. Am I missing something?

3. 5:53, What does 'cerebral' means?

4. 7:22, 'Tunnel of sound', what does that mean?

1. We may suggest simplifying to just focus on one aspect of your singing. But it's not "wrong" to sing with more expression if that's easier/preferred!

2. YAH or AH, both are good. Some singers find the Y helpful for their onset. 

3. Cerebral: intellectual rather than emotional or physical

4. I take that to mean a clear, focused sound. Sounds like it's more of a visualization!
