Maybe brightness helping high notes

    Hi Camille

     

    I think I might have heard that sometimes brightness helps high notes. Is that true? Thanks!

    It definitely can! I like to vocalize on an NG for high notes, which has a lot of inherent brightness. A brighter, more "forward" tone can also help those notes "carry" with less "pushing" or vocal effort.
