    Hi Camille,

After the introduction this is my first question.

I had a question about bending the knees while getting ready to sing. Every time I hear this is needed. My question is how far do you bend the knees? And is it normal to feel tension in your your feet and legs while doing this? Cause when I bend them I mostly feel this tension. And I don't know if I should get used to it or whether perhaps I am doing something wrong.

Hi, Alexey! Singing teachers usually mention bending the knees to caution against locking the knees (and fainting as a result), as some nervous choir kids have done in the past. But you don't need to sing with your knees bent! Just make sure they feel free to move and aren't locking up.

Thank you very much Camille! This is definitely good to know. Will think of it when doing one of your lessons today 🙂
