Tongue behavior during lip trills

I am new to vocal routines. I just started 30 day singer today. I'm going through the 30 days with Camille. I am not able to do the lip trills without my tongue also vibrating aginst the roof of my mouth, so I'm wondering if I am doing it wrong. What is the proper tongue position / behavior during the lip trills?

    Thanks,

    -Chris

Welcome, Chris! The tongue should just be relaxed, low in the mouth (same position as when you sing a realxed AH vowel). The tongue trill is actually a lip trill alternative, so it's not bad to do! Here's an article with more tips on lip trills and other alternatives.
