Hi! I'm an absolute greenhorn when it comes to singing onstage. I checked my vocal range online and found out it was F#2-G4. However, i don't play any instrument so the exercise involved me speaking syllables (briefly) into the app's range finder to ascertain my range. Multiple attempts showed up different results. So, i found the exercise more like guesswork. If i book a live 30-minute session with an instructor can they help me with: finding my range, my tessitura and the key/genre best suited to my voice. Those are the very specific inputs i am looking for.

Hi, Vicky! We can definitely help you find your range and tessitura. A note on key, though: there won't be one specific key that's best for your voice. It'll be song-specific. But we can help you find the best key for a few songs, if you have some in mind.
