    Hi, Akiva! 

    Some changes will take a longer time to notice, like your overall consistency and tone quality. But you can hear a difference in your voice right now if you make a few adjustments.

    For example, sing with your mouth relatively closed, then sing with your jaw relaxing down. Or sing like you normally would, then sing using a "pre-yawn" lift in your soft plate. Sing with a breathy tone, then sing with a stronger, louder tone. 

    These are just a few examples. You should be able to hear the difference between a dropped and lifted soft palate, or between a tense and relaxed jaw. The goal with long-term practice is for these good habits to become second nature, impacting the quality of your sound over all.
