i cannot lip trill

    hi there,

    i just began the beginner course.  i have never sang, except along with fav songs.  

    i have a problem with the lip trill.  i have a large overbite and my top lip goes over my bottom, i cannot physically do a lip trill, is there an alternate warm up i can do? please trust me i tried to learn it's just not possible for me

    Of course! The best alternative is singing through a straw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cMSTt3oY7E.

    You can also try a sustained hum, NN, NG, VV or ZZ sound.
