Hi there's some talk about chest mix and head mix being different things. Isn't it all just mix with chest mix being mix with more chest?

Some singers experience their mixed registration gradually coming in, while others experience "stepping" into mix all at once. If I use the term chest mix, I mean a mix that can pass as chest voice, or is predominantly chesty. And for head mix, the opposite! That's helpful to me, but if it isn't for you, forget it!
