Can you explain to me if there are sub-categories of mixed voice? For example, I understand well the concepts of head mix, or chest mix, but I came across the term speech mix (in Nathalie Weiss videos in particular, it was of one the coaches you recommended on you tube). Is speech mix more chest dominant?

Yes, exactly! Different teachers will use different terms, but a speech mix refers to mix with a speech-like (spoken) quality, and we use chest voice function to speak.
