    Hi Camille,

In the warm up exercises, we have the NG sound practice. I am unclear on how to produce that sound, is it all Nasal ie if i block my nose with my fingers no sound should come out ?

    Thanks!

Hi, Anu! Yes, NG is a completely nasalized sound. I like it because it tends to take pressure off of the larynx, has the same benefits as other semi-occluded exercises (like the lip trill), and is easier to transfer to vowels (by dropping the back of the tongue gradually).
