Maintaining Tone on High Notes?

Hello! I was wondering if I could get some tips regarding maintaining a good tone while singing higher notes. I'm a tenor, and seem to lose tone as I reach for/hit higher notes in my range.  Any help would be appreciated :)

Hi, Blase! I'd consider vowel modification. As you ascend, some vowels will start to feel either shouty or tight and pinched, and will produce a better tone with some modification. See below for some tips I sent to a tenor the other day!

    - Try using a tall + narrow mouth position in this range, to encourage more mix (head resonance along with chest); this will relieve some pressure and help you avoid the unstable "shouty" pulled-chest voice sound

    - Here's a video with a singer using that kind of vowel modification: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVqS_BYsDBA

And an article on that as well: https://www.thenakedvocalist.com/quick-fix-vowel-substitution/
