Singing while sitting

    Hi Everyone,

I have always learned you should stand with good posture while singing. I try to this most of the times. But sometimes I just want to sing while sitting.

Is it possible to sing at the same level as standing or is there really a big difference?

What is a good posture while sitting? Open legs/ crossed legs? etc.

Standing is preferred for your best posture and support; but if you're seated, sit on the edge of your chair so your feet are on the ground. Keep your spine long and be careful of the tendency to reach your chin forward or roll your shoulders forward. We want to be just as energized and tall in our seated posture as in our standing!
