sore throat while and after singing

    Hi, I am a beginner singer and lately i feel a little soreness in my throat while and / or after singing. It's nothing really painfull and i am not loosing my voice or anything like that. But i am still worried i might damage my voice. I am also pretty sure i am not straining. What else could cause this to happen?
